The Way This Husband Reacted To His Wife Winning Her First 5k Race Is Too Funny

In any good relationship, your partner is your hype-person for your life accomplishments. Husband Zach Sturino showed the internet just how well he fits this role after his wife, Stephanie, won the first race she ever ran. He congratulated her with something better than any gold medal.

Working some hilarious Photoshop magic, Zach inserted Stephanie into the Pamplona bull run, a few classic movie scenes and other funny surroundings.

“Not only has Stephanie had to take care of my broken self, but she has also continued to work full time, take care of our children, oh and also WIN her division in a 5k this past weekend,” the husband who’s currently recovering from a knee surgery wrote. “I’m so proud of her, and so thankful. You the real MVP.”

“I have been running on and off for about 10 years,” Stephanie told Bored Panda. “I have always enjoyed it as a form of exercise but never really ran competitively.”

“Zach is always extremely supportive of me and my goals,” she added. “When I told him I was thinking about running a 5k he was excited to see me complete.” Zach himself said that he wasn’t really surprised Stephanie was the first one to cross the finish line.

After seeing the pics from the race, Stephanie texted Zach and said that she and her friends were joking someone should Photoshop her into Jurassic Park. “Since I’m stuck on the couch after an ACL reconstruction surgery I did that one, and just kept going,” Zach said. “I didn’t really have anything better to do and they were hilarious!”

His buddy Seth Cleek (@j_cleek) was the one who suggested to upload the images to reddit. In just a day, they’ve got over 122k likes! “He texted me this morning and said ‘I feel like I had the winning lottery numbers and I gave them to you.’”

And to all of those who wonder if Stephanie is already cropping Zach out of their wedding photos, “She thought they were hilarious,” the husband said. “She has a great sense of humor.”
