Located in Poland, this two hectares forest in which there are 400 old pines of 80 years whose trunk are bent at the base at right angles and are recovering in a gradual curve of up to 3 meters. If the origin of the strain is unnatural, several theories are competing about their origin.
For one theory, the pines were planted in 1932 in order to serve in a furniture industry. For the other, this shape would have served to produce Christmas tree with a technique that allows the parent tree to be exploited many times.
Kilian Schönberger photographer went to this forest one day with mist and took these beautiful pictures.
