I Can’t Believe This Isn’t a Photo

I have a very hard time distinguishing Gregory Thielker’s oil paintings from reality. It’s not only that his treatment of light and texture is perfect. It’s the subject matter, which makes me feel extremely nostalgic of countless road trips, driving under the rain in silence, talking with good friends and family, or listening to some sad song.
