Morning Star by Karina Smigla-bobinski

Some time ago we presented Karina Smigla-Bobinski and her artwork Ada. Now she’s back with her latest piece ‘Morning Star’. This installation is made of 200 arrows, that apparently hit their target. The arrows create a ball that seem to float freely in the room, spinning around its own axis. Karina Smigla-Bobinski says: ‘Morgenstern (Morning Star) is a celebration of ambivalence. The first look reveals an aureole of black lines that are intercepted with white and red, in the end spreading out into slender triangles.
