Incredible Dice Sculptures by Tony Cragg

British artist Tony Cragg (born in Liverpool, England) unveiled a new dice covered sculpture at FIAC 2011 in Paris last week. Cragg has created a number of organic figures using dice as the building blocks of his creations. He carefully places each die to create a flowing, twisting, and turning sculpture. The dice are carefully turned, displaying different faces adding flow to the imagery of the piece. An impressive work that proves how British sculpture in the 21st century can find new ways of playing with shapes and materials, shadows and lights. More of his works with other materials can be seen here.
